Promap, established in 1996, is a leading supplier of aerial and ground survey services across Southern Africa. 

Promap offers specialist survey services including aerial photography surveys, airborne LiDAR scanning and ground based surveys. Promap has extensive survey experience in the public, engineering, mining and power-line sectors with clients including major utility companies such as Eskom and major mining houses such as Anglo and Glencore.

Based in South Africa, Promap is well placed to undertake aerial and ground surveys throughout Southern Africa, including; Angola, Zambia, Botswana, Zimbabwe, Mozambique, Swaziland and Lesotho. Project and data processing services are undertaken from our offices in Cape Town office, with LiDAR and Mobile Mapping managed from our Centurion office.

The Promap team have in-depth knowledge in the capture of LiDAR, vertical and oblique imagery plus thermal imagery within South Africa - including compliance with all South African aviation legislation and safety requirements. With a wealth of project management experience, our professional staff are registered with the South African Geomatics Council, (Professional Surveyors & GISC Practitioners).
